The Vocal Arts Academy of Milwaukee was founded by Emily Crocker in 2010 for singers in Grades 7-12 to create a musical environment of joy, excellence, encouragement and restorative energy -- a positive experience to enhance lives and lift spirits through collaborative music making. The ensemble sings a wide variety of choral music, from the classics through contemporary works, and popular, jazz and Broadway selections.

the tone of the soloist is SOOO lovely! I could listen to it all day. Beautiful rendition! well done, all!
If ever there was a piece to lift your spirit skyward.....
Was one of my wedding hymns .. loved the words and so suitable for our venue..
One of the lobeliest pieces ever. I was lucky enough to have been in a choir that performed this. It brings tears to my eyes.
So much love and appreciation to the choir Director. You are a gem
Rutter is a giant of both choral and orchestral pieces, like the Antique Suite! I am not Christian myself, but the music makes up or it!
One of my most favorite songs. I love it. Thank you for singing it.
I hope every one of you take the beauty and power of this hymn with you for the rest of your life....❤❤
The tone, the strength, amazing voices, all of you, thank you so much!!
Omigosh, wonderful, i don't have the words, thank you❤❤❤
I'm performing this tonight, super excited since it's been ik our program the whole year and we still haven't done it! Wish me luck 🤞
That is so beautiful. Reminds me of when my kids were in chorus
for the 1408, praise union!!
My music festival choir days r rolling back
Same
When my uncle passed away this song was song only 1 years ago
Excellent singing!!
Cutie and the Boxer
❤
Does anyone know the lyrics for this?
Beautiful job, all!
I had not heard this wondrous hymn until recently by way of the World Famous Tabernacle Choir at Temple Square. I fell in love with its melody & hopeful lyrics & began searching for other renditions. IMHO, The Vocal Arts sound the very best of all the Utube videos I have listened to. . .And for a relatively small choir made up of youth they bring a unique sound & heartfelt feeling beyond compare.
Good soloist and well done all.
Best conductor i have seen. Placing the members in strategic spots so they need not stress out parts. Bravo 👏👏👏👏
I remember singing this song when I was in 6th grade almost 15+ years ago. I remember how much I loved this song. I’m so happy I found it again, it’s a beautiful hymn of praise to our Heavenly Father. Our king of Kings and Lord of Lords, may the Glory be His forever and ever. It brought so many tears to my eyes.
Very, very good 🙏✨️
Wow❤
What happened to the altos and tenors?? Did they leave halfway through the song?
Too beautiful. Tears were shed. Glory to God, siempre!
This is so wonderful the one in the wheelchair also participated in it and no one was bothered or annoyed by him how sweet❤

To our Shell. Everyday we think of you and love you! Rest in peace and watch over Clara and Jen. Missed by so many x
I’m looking through all of my choirs songs from last year and I remember, when our teacher showed us this song, I was instantly in love. This might sound cringy as I was 12 at the time but I made me want to cry because of how beautiful it was. Today in the shower I was singing songs and remembered how much I loved this song, so I instantly got on youtube and it makes me miss singing this song so much
Its ok, but whom ever made the chior score has no soul.. there is so much oppurtunity for the rest of the chior to do harmonizing instead of 1 person singing, and the clapping out of time is pretty bad. Great song, done megerly
Sang this in 1985 with NC Honors chorus. Makes me think of my mom. This was her favorite we did.
I Love This Song. Sung It In Jr. High Concert Choir And In A Community Concert Choir😊
I'm not quite sure you guys understand that this song is a joke. That might be because you've got the words wrong: it's "a chamber WITH a feather bed." So that's one of the three things. And then the chimney is another of the three things. And then there's a third thing. With me here?
So beautiful, brings tears to my eyes!
Look at all them red headed step childrens. You can tell that they can't wait to go out and sin. I never seen so many reds in one spot!!!
I know you posted this ages ago... but I wanted to take a moment to tell you that you all sounded great! I really enjoyed this performance!
I keep coming back to this version, all the other ones sound wrong to me somehow after having heard this
Good job ensemble (instruments and vocals and director.)
It's crazy how the first few seconds bring back so much memories, my buddies, the atmosphere.. everything.
EXQUISITE VERSION!
I hope you are still singing. Thank you for enabling me to hear this again... I sang it too years ago; a most beautiful song, beautifully sung. Thank you .
great song and great group of people, love the wheelchair dude
Beautiful composition and performance by all musicians and conductor. Thank you.
So beautiful 😍
Amazing sound🎉❤
So professional! Well done! GORGEOUS song!!!!
I’d love to be in that chorus
